Panache Response Plan / COVID-19

Panache Salon and Spa, like everyone, would like to open for business as soon as possible.

We intend to open to the fullest extent possible when it is SAFE to do so, not based on politics but real facts, to ensure the very highest level of safety for our staff and guests. 

Following our company culture at Panache, we are not a business that will open ahead of guideline timelines; we care more about you and our team staying healthy. Erie County should get to the "Green Zone" level set forth by the CDC to open "Close" contact businesses such as ours. We also must wait for the restrictions for Erie County to be lifted for Salon and Spas.

We all know the frustrations of not having our clients not be able to receive our services. Your roots have been growing like crazy, muscles in the back need loosened and nails need to help so badly, not to worry, we will see you as soon possible. The team at Panache are all extremely excited to get back to work, as you can imagine. We will be calling all guests a week prior to opening to begin scheduling your appointments. Panache had to close its doors on March 17, 2020. We will start by calling the first inconvenienced clients (those first canceled), as well as all the appointment requests we have received through our email. Please be patient we will get everyone serviced safely.

At this point, we are not stating a "Re-Opening" date. There is no sense in guiding this date by assumptions. 

We will announce our re-opening as soon as the safest date reveals itself. This information will be updated as things evolve.

Hello to my clients and friends of Panache,

  I hope everyone has been safe and well; please know that I consider our guests as part of the Panache family. This is a crazy time for all of us. It has been a concern that our Panache team has not been able to work, but I know they are tough and resilient, and we will come through this crisis together. Although I am aware of all the scary implications of the pandemic, I hope soon to be getting back to some sort of normalcy. Once our restrictions are lifted, please know that we will be contacting you and will make every effort to schedule your services in a timely way. We appreciate the support and trust you have shown us in the past and intend to continue serving you in with the same level of excellence in the future. We are indeed in this together. Below you will find our companies Response Plan detailing how Panache and our team will be operating going forward.




  • Panache is not doing " Take Home Color Kits" - For many reasons; It is against Pennsylvania Cosmetology Law to send professional color out of the environment of the salon. Applying color with salon strength products requires a trained professional to perform the application safely.
  • We have created up a way for our clients to purchase products online during this Pandemic and into the future. All products will be shipped to the client’s home.
  • We will be following all CDC and Pennsylvania Guidelines for operating a Salon and Spa in the safest way possible as protocols are released. 
  • Panache will be adding other procedural elements over the next few weeks that will decrease contact with others while visiting Panache. 
  • Our Front Desk team is gearing up even now to handle the huge influx of guests we will need to accommodate as fast as possible.

  • Cintas Hand Sanitizing stations have been set up through our facility, both for our guests and staff.
  • There will sure to be other changes coming as our State Government sets forth more detail and industry-specific guidelines. As they are announced we will provide updates to our operating procedures.
  • Social distancing will be implemented per guidelines and common sense.
  • All educational travel planed though the summer has been canceled for the time being.
  • We will be wiping all client chairs down with anti-microbial wipes between each client.
  • Very frequent touchpoints for guests such as credit card terminals will be sanitized between each guest.
  • All touchpoints: Doorknobs, phones, etc. will be wiped down hourly.
  • Our employee break room will shut down for the immediate future.

Panache has not been just letting our space sit idle during this State closure. 
We have improved many items throughout the Salon and Spa ourselves. as well as many outside companies have been there separately, to maintain safety, accomplishing many items that needed to be done at Panache.

  • We decided to bring in E.R.I., or Erie Restoration. They have cleaned from the ceilings to the floors and used industrial sanitizer on absolutely every surface inside of the Panache facility.
  • Our own cleaning crew, Gem Cleaning, has been doing fantastic things as well. They have been doing “Intensive cleaning”. Items such as all baseboards, using electric toothbrushes to clean and shine all the chrome of our chairs, they look brand new. They are also reconditioning and sanitizing softer materials, such as our leather and vinyl items.
  • I felt it worth mentioning - let us not forget our wonderful front desk team! They have all helped move, or inform, hundreds of our clients of the situation, not an easy task.
  • We created the new " Team Portal " on or website. This is a brand-new resource for our staff members working at Panache. It is password protected and has truly relevant information specifically for our team.
  • In an effort to get products to the clients that wanted them we created TWO ways for clients to obtain Panache and Oribe products. The STORE on our website is now open!
